The vibe of Isla del Mar is fantastic. It feels like a south of the border fiesta every time. The menu provides lots of choices, and the service is attentive. We had drinks with dinner in the past, which added to the fun, but today was lunch, so no drinks. All in all a good visit, and at first, the mariachi band added to the vibe in a good way. It got to be a little much as they seemed to be REALLY loud and right on top of our table for our whole visit, making it hard to converse and hard to enjoy the music too.

This is a favorite of ours and always come when in Omaha. The service is fast, they have to have a big kitchen. Quality of food is very consistent each time. It is primarily frequented by the Latino population, but every staff member I've spoke with is fluent in English. The only complaint is that it's always loud here. The background music is louder than many restaurants and the mariachi bands play over the top of the music. Add in the patrons trying to talk over it all and your shouting at each other. Even with this, it's worth the visit.

Great seafood place in south Omaha with a nice variety from fish and birria tacos to shrimp cocktail and sushi. Drinks come in very large cups and the food was piping hot and fresh. We had the ribeye steak with lobster and a wet birria burrito, kids had the Ramen bowl which could have fed at least 4 children! Chips and salsa were brought to us when we sat down and it was delicious. Server seems like he got swamped though and it took a while to get his attention so we could pay the bill but the place was packed so it wasn't that big of a deal. Definitely recommend and will be returning.

They had live music, the food was even better than the pictures and staff was super friendly. The flavor was AMAZING! We need this place in Sioux City, IA.

This place is absolutely amazing, it will not disappoint. The food selection is phenomenal. We ordered their a la diabla octopus, the lobster and a ribeye. All of them cooked to perfection with lots of taste and fresh. Their sushi is also amazing and their mixed drinks are strong. Will be coming back!!
